Ty Lewis (Director)

Tyrell J. Lewis was raised proudly in the city of Pleasantville, NJ. He is a multitalented individual who strives for excellence and promotes innovative, radical change in his community.

Lewis is a graduate of Atlantic Cape Community college. He earned his degree in Studio Art in 2017. He has also studied at Wiest- Barron-Ryan Acting Agency in Atlantic City, as well as the famous and iconic Negro Ensemble Company in New York. He is currently a member of T.A.P NYC ensemble of NYC. Lewis joined the Atlantic City Theater Guild in early 2007 after his run in the well-known production "A Raisin in the Sun".  He then became Assistant Director of P.A.W. Prints later that year. This free performing Arts workshop taught the basics of dance, drama, and voice. Continuing his work as drama and dance instructor for P.A.W Prints, he later became Performing Arts Director at the Pleasantville Recreation Center in 2009. There, he founded the "All Star Drama Club" for youth 8-18 years old. The All Star Drama Club was featured in the Annual Christmas celebration in Pleasantville that same year. The program was under Project Vision, of which he was coordinator for one year. During his time as coordinator, he helped launched the "Mural Arts Project" in an attempt to bring new life to the Recreation Center through art. Through his diligence, he has created and directed several successful shows and a film, for the Recreation Center. His efforts did not go unnoticed. In 2011, Lewis was awarded Pleasantville Municipal Alliance Leadership Award.

He has won the City of Pleasantville over by allowing the youth's voices to be heard through his abstract and intense style of writing and directing. Through his writing Lewis has touched on the prevention of violence and use of drugs and alcohol. However, he is most adamant about having community leaders and parents to take a more affective role in the lives of our youth. Lewis made this evident with his original poem "Where Have All the Voices Gone". He befittingly recited this poem for the first time at an outside anti-violence rally in Atlantic City, NJ. Lewis was also noticed by Silent Noise Publishing and was asked to be a featured Author in the anthology A Literary Assault on the American Mind published worldwide in 2015. In 2017, he debuted as a playwright with his first original production “Jazz From The Tares.” Lewis was asked to represent Black History Month with two performances. The first performance was at the KROC Center in Camden, NJ and the second at his alma mater, Atlantic Cape Community College. This production has been widely celebrated and is currently touring. This year, Lewis’s own anthology Kiss It Up to God  was self- published and released on

Lewis's most prominent endeavor yet is the start of TyXtreme Productions; a theater production company. While producing affective art is an obvious goal for the company, quite naturally, his community is set to benefit from his production efforts. He is currently working on several projects including an original film, his second anthology, and stage play; all of which promise to be motivating and of great substance. Lewis acknowledges his faith, parents, mentors and other leaders as the reason for his role in the community. He hopes to inspire this generation to follow in his footsteps. He looks forward to continuing to use his talents as an actor, writer and director to encourage and up lift his community.

Also she won a trophy, the most improved dancer from Blaze Dance Group. Everywhere she goes she’s always very observant and learns pretty fast. We always sing in the car together and she even likes old school music from the 80’s & 90s, The Temptations (her favorite song is Aint Too Proud to Beg!) are one of her favorite groups as well as Michael Jackson .Essence leaves a lasting impression on everyone everywhere she goes, I always tell her when we’re watching Nickelodeon, Americas Got Talent , So you think you Can Dance, The  RapGame,  Bring It etc.. no matter what you will be on T.V. one day because you got it. Essence loves to record herself on her phone or tablet dancing or singing, her personality stretches as far as the universe and by all means we will see that she goes beyond.  She’s such a big blessing to her family and we want nothing but the best for her. Essence will always be daddy’s and mommy’s angel from heaven!! Good Luck on your 1st big production babygirl we love you!

Journey Bea Owens

Is no stranger to the stage nor Just Right Productions--she had the honor of playing the role as "Magic" Effie's daughter in DreamGirls, creatively directed & produced by Just Right Productions here in her hometown, Atlantic City in 2016 at the Claridge Hotel.

At her ripe age of 8 years old it is evident that Journey has a gift of dance and theater arts. She has been taking formal dance lessons since the age of 3 years old, which includes tap, ballet & jazz & aerial arts with Encore Dance Studio of EHT and now she can also add to this list her new experiences with various genres of dance, which include East & West African, Jamaican, Brazilian, HIP HOP and other classic dance techniques under the impressive choreography & tutelage of the some of the areas finest choreographers.

She's no stranger to her community & community service as she's been raised in a culture of "giving back to her community" through being directly connected to Princess, Inc. as the heir of this popular mentoring & community service organization here in Atlantic City.

Although still very young Journey has her own plans to travel the world, go to college somewhere in Paris and live her best life!!!!
